The Project

A Passive House build in Arden, Ontario. This residential project incorporated our super-insulated (wood fiber board) and airtight building envelope, CLT walls (Cross-Laminated Timbers), triple pane windows and doors. The wall panels for this project were prefabricated in our workshop (insulation, windows, membrane and strapping), then shipped to site ready to be installed as full wall panels, therefore reducing exposure to the elements.

Building Components

Wall Structure: 120mm CLT with 10” of wood fiber board insulation

Roof Structure: Truss system with cellulose insulation

Windows & Doors: Passive certified triple pane windows & doors

Heating, Cooling and Ventilation: Minotair unit - Pentacare v12 model
